First War victory medal and British War Medal named to 928769 Pvt. A. Miller 1-Can. Inf. Archibald Miller was living in Elora, Ontario when he attested in 1917. He was an upholsterer by trade. He was wounded by a gunshot in the abdomen on August 31st , 1918 and passed away due to his wounds on September 5th, 1918. Grouping includes his two medals, a 1st Battalion two piece cap badge by Hicks, a ribbon bar and a picture of his grave taken in 1936.
