English made pinfire 12 bore double. Produced in Birmingham in about 1860. Three fowl on right lock, dog rising fowl on left lock. Tight crisp engraving overall. All screws are crisp and only a couple, locks and lever, have ever been turned. Gun is well used, other than the bites being a little slack, the firearm overall is very tight and the wood overall is solid and undamaged , just usual wear and tear. Gun and locks are rust free. Barrels show original patina mixed with surface staining and wear. The right hammer has been remade and period repaired and bronzed together  and nicely filed. It is a rather crude copy of the original. The engraving has been reapplied. The bites are clean and rust free except for some pitting ahead of the chambers. An exquisite early English shotgun for the discerning collector.
