1820’s-30’s Laquerware Snuff Box

Good condition laquerware snuff box with a French soldier painted motif in the lid. These were produced in the 1790's-1830's period in continental Europe for the most part. This specimen was likely produced in France for domestic consumption. Soldier appears to be from the 1st Empire period. Bottom has felt residue from being glued to a display board. Measures approximately 3.5 inches across.
