Excellent condition silver First War service medal for the state of Hesse. Comes with its original paper issue envelope. Has its original blue and red ribbon. Obverse has the profile of Ernst Ludwig of Hesse. Reverse has "Fur Tapferkeit" surrounded by laurel and acanthus leaves. Great specimen.
