Very good condition M1898 bayonet with its leather scabbard. Mismatched Bavarian regimental markings on the scabbard and hilt. Those on the hilt are not very clear but the markings on the scabbard are pretty clear. B.5.R.4.206. Maker is V.C. Schilling of Suhl. Marked W underneath a crown and the date 1906. Underneath that is a crown and a B. Nice complete specimen that will clean up.
