Newish portrait of Motor Gun Boat 629. Dated 1989 and signed P. Vacher. The medium is acrylic on board. Measures 24 x 20 inches with frame. MGB 629 was built by A.M Dickie & Sons of Scotland in 1941. From the 23rd of November to 18th of October 1943 it belonged to the RCNVR and was skippered by Charles Anthony Francis Law. It was then transferred to the RNVR. Tony Law is now renowned as a Canadian artist. Very good condition but could use a new frame. Great for the war room.
