First War Vintage Shell Lamp 75mm

Price: $260.00

Very good condition 75mm shell lamp produced just after the Furst World War by the Snead & Company Ironworks in New Jersey. Original label on base states that the shell was one of the shells from the Morgan Explosion of October of 1918. The explosion took place at the J.A Gillespie Shell Loading plant which killed hundreds. An interesting artifact of the First World War. The lamp is in working order as I tested it. Included is a shade that is from a later period but does go well with the lamp.
