1895/1897 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword

Excellent condition sword and scabbard. Pattern is the 1895/97 Infantry officer. Withers attributes this pattern to NCO's. Cypher is for Edward VII. A short lived sovereign (1901-1910). While Edward VII swords are less common what makes this sword more unique is its markings attributing it to the Royal Canadian Regiment. No makers mark visit on the blade. Dated 02/1903 on the blade. Some crown acceptance marks. Tougher to find regimentally marked Canadian swords, especially to one of Canada's premier regiments.
