German fireman's helmet from the state of Rhineland Westphalia. Complete liner and chinstrap present. No cockades. Maker marked on the interior to a manufacturer from Aachen, Heinrich Mandelartz. Possibly produced for the Aachen Fire Service. Dates to the late 19th century, early 20th.
