German 2nd War Gas Mask Cannister

German 2nd War gas mask cannister in very nice condition. Often these seem to be covered in rust. Not this specimen. Has pull tab and straps as well as the spare lenses in the top interior compartment. Just missing the bottom strap with clip. Mask itself is not present. The empty canisters are good for display or mounting on mannequins as there is less weight and strain to put on field equipment.
