Excellent condition late 19th century oil on canvas of a British Guardsman wearing his Egyptian Campaign medals. The Egypt Medal and the Khedives Star are proudly displayed. This painting is unsigned and the soldier is unnamed. The canvas is approximately 10×12 inches. With its period correct gold gilt frame it measures 13×15. As is is evident by the picture of the reverse the painting exhibits correct amount of age. No rips or tears. Ready to hang in your office or study.
